Our employees are what make us unique, and we are taking this opportunity to shine the light on Tanna Schroder, Account Supervisor in Owensboro, Kentucky. Tanna is a leader who embodies what it means to serve behind the scenes with excellence.
Tanna leads a dedicated team of five CRCST-certified technicians who support both the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department. Her role goes beyond supervision. She’s also a mentor and key player as the bridge between surgical teams and sterile processing at her hospital.
“Behind every successful laparoscopic surgery in Owensboro, there’s our team working with precision and purpose,” says Tanna. “We’re not just managing schedules, we’re ensuring surgical teams have exactly what they need, when they need it, to deliver safe and effective care.”
Her journey from healthcare and customer service to surgical support has shaped her resilience and empathy. She keeps things human, with her sense of humor:
“The worst thing in surgery is the inside of a belly button. Always clean your belly buttons!”
