Surgical Solutions is excited to announce Kirk Leonardelli as its new CEO. With over two decades of experience in the Hospital and Health System marketplace, Kirk brings a wealth of expertise to lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Kirk has held senior leadership roles in sales, business operations, mergers & acquisitions, and marketing at Fortune 300 organizations. His career includes operating a medical device distributorship and selling a wide range of healthcare solutions, from surgical instrumentation and implants to SaaS and staffing services.
Most recently, Kirk served as Division Head of Sales and Commercial Strategy at Laboratory Corporation of America, where he built and managed commercial operations for their Health Systems Operating Division. Leading a team from the ground up, he optimized outsourcing partnerships for laboratory services across 98 hospitals nationwide. His focus on enhancing operational efficiency while supporting providers and improving patient outcomes aligns perfectly with Surgical Solutions’ mission.
Kirk's extensive experience underscores his belief in the importance of strategic partnerships in shaping the future of global healthcare infrastructure. Under his leadership, Surgical Solutions is poised to continue delivering exceptional value to its partners while driving innovation in the healthcare industry.
Kirk resides in Kansas City with his wife, a physician, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his son's soccer team, spending time at the family lake cabin, and supporting his daughters in their creative pursuits.
